Extended Family Miami Beach Photo Shoot

For this extended family photo shoot, we met at South Pointe Park in Miami Beach. It was a convenient location close to where they were staying in South Beach. Aside from getting a portrait of everyone, the best photos for me are the interactive, playful ones. Everyone got involved in the photo session; from the kids running along the water, giving each other piggy pack rides, to the grandparents dancing salsa on the beach. It was a fun and memorable time for everyone. To me, that’s what a family session should be about. I always start with the formal photos: the entire family together, individual families, the grandparents with the grandchildren. But then the fun begins. The more people that get involved, the better!
