Adam wanted to plan a surprise proposal without his girlfriend Isabella knowing of course, to get a real reaction. For the location, he wanted to propose on the beach so we decided to meet at South Pointe Park. I followed from a distance as they made their way close to the water. It’s so great being able to capture people’s reactions before they realize there’s a camera 🙂

For the rest of the hour, we made our way around the park where there’s endless options for picturesque backgrounds. But more importantly, these two are so in love which always makes for great photographs.

Their outfits photographed really well, especially her dress which added a great pop of color. When you have a strong bold color, pairing it with a muted color such as white is a smart choice – as in this case where his light pink shirt, white pants and brown shoes pairs perfectly with her bold pink dress (and matching pink manicure!).
