UM Graduate Photos – University of Miami Graduation Photography
UM graduate photos are one of my favorite things to photograph! First, some of my favorite photos from this photo shoot:
I’ve photographed my fair share of graduate photos. It’s a milestone occasion and an honor for me to document a moment that happens once in your life. The UM campus in particular is a dream to photograph at. Since there is ample shade, we can meet there in the morning, afternoon or even during the day if that’s what works best for your schedule.
The famous spots to get your photo taken by the University of Miami Campus:
- The U Statue
- The University of Miami sign by the corner of Ponce de Leon and Stanford Drive
- The water fountain
- The walkway with queen palms
Besides some of the above options, I highly recommend getting photos taken at a building that has personal meaning for you. There are lots of other scenic spots as well and we can easily spend 2 hours roaming the campus to get different backdrops.
Bonus Tips:
Outfit Tip: choose an outfit that complements your cap and gown. Solid colors often work well. We can get some photos without the gown as well, so wear an outfit you feel *great* in.
Preparation: *Do* get your hair and makeup done. You want to feel confident and comfortable – but that’s my job as well to put you at ease. When it comes to posing, I got you covered!
Props (optional): Bring any personal items or props that represent your academic journey or interests. This could include books, a diploma, or items related to your major. Let me know if you have any specific ideas in mind.
Bring a friend: Having a friend or family member can really help you relax and capture more natural expressions. Even better: they can help you carry props or a change of outfit.
