Miami Beach Maternity Photographer Sunset Session

I remember this session distinctly in my mind. It was a little overcast and then just when we started, the sun appeared. Her white, flowing maternity dress looked beautiful against the blues of the water and sky. After photographing on the beach we walked onto the pier, with its jutting rocks extending toward the horizon. The wind kicked up while standing on the pier, so we worked it to our advantage. I positioned the two of them facing south so the wind would blow her hair back out of her face.

I loved that they were willing to go into the water. The last one is one of my favorites with the reflection in the water. If you’re planning on doing the same at your own photo session, you might want to bring along a pair of dry clothes and a small towel to dry off.
