I love photographing students as they graduate from university. It’s a huge accomplishment and also such an exciting time in your life! The University of Miami happens to have a huge, beautiful campus that is a photographer’s dream. Nature, urban landscapes, vibrant colors, ample shade. It’s got it all.

I photographed this young woman in different areas of the campus – some spots were meaningful and personal (like the nursing building) and other areas because the light was just beautiful! I loved hanging out with her (and her sister who joined both for moral support and helped her fix her hair, etc.), capturing both a mix of classic portraits and some that showed her personality and joy as she celebrates this achievement!
