Collins Avenue Miami Beach Family Photography

I met this family of four from Maryland at the beach walk by Collins Avenue and 24th street, near where they were staying at The Gates Hotel. It was an early sunrise session on the day of the Miami Marathon. Lots of streets are blocked off and driving can be an impossibility until the roads open up later in the morning. Luckily I was able to bike to their session before the marathon started and avoid any traffic issues.

Their two adorable daughters were just bursting with energy. They said their kids usually wake up at 5:45am and are full of energy all day!

The girls ran and played, and jumped in the shallow ocean waves. They were also excited to go onto the colorful lifeguard houses that adorn the beaches. It was a perfectly delightful morning capturing this family.
