Family of Three Sunrise Beach Session at the Fontainebleau

We really lucked out with this photo shoot. It was an early morning session, just after sunrise. I met this family originally from Brazil at the beach behind the Fontainebleau hotel. It was overcast and the weather didn’t look very promising. We went ahead with the session and I’m so glad we did. Their baby was in a great mood. Initially she was a little serious, giving me a quizzical “who are you?” look. But then after her parents started playing with her she warmed up quickly. One of my favorite images from this session is the very last photo – where the mom had no qualms getting into the sand; I love her look of joy and excitement as she holds up her daughter. You can see from the photos just how enamored the two of them of are with their little girl. Immediately after we ended the session the rain was over us. We laughed incredulously, amazed at our luck.
