Hotel Riu Plaza Miami Beach Surprise Proposal Photographer

The plan: Steve reached out to me about planning a surprise proposal. His plan was to propose on the beach near the Hotel Riu Plaza Miami Beach. They love taking walks on the beach together, so he figured she wouldn’t need much convincing to go for a walk together and then he’d propose.

How it went down: Steve sent me a photo in advance of the him and Emily so I knew who to look for. He also mentioned what he was wearing so I definitely couldn’t miss them. I waited on the boardwalk just outside the Riu. They were relaxing on the beach and I could see them from a distance. Once I saw them getting up to go walking, I headed out onto the sand and followed them from a distance. I loved her reaction, especially when Steve pointed me out and her mouth opened up in shock. Priceless!
