This was my 7th year photographing this awesome family! This was actually my first time photographing in the Miami Design District and it was perfect for them as their girls love to have fun and run around playing. They even brought along their newest addition – an adorable little puppy. We met up early one Sunday morning when it was still quiet and the stores hadn’t opened yet.

Check out last year’s session on the beach. While we hit up a few great spots in the Design District during this mini session, there are lots of other places to utilize in the areas as well. There are murals, sculptures, nature lined walkways and more. It’s a colorful, urban spot that is now one of my favorite spots to photograph at.

Be aware that the Design District, like the Wynwood Walls, is often changing. Art installations, murals, etc. are often changed yearly so photos you see on google may not be current. Current highlights of the Miami Design district include the Buckminster Fuller Fly’s eye dome, the Fendi café / colonnade, Netscape, an installation of hammock-like chairs, and the Museum Garage which has a fun pink slide for kids.
