They took a walk together along the water by beach on 53rd and Collins Ave., where it’s just a little quieter than further south near the famous “South Beach” neighborhood. I followed discreetly from afar, using a long 200mm lens to capture the moment. I knew it was them from photos he sent me ahead of time, along with a description of what they would be wearing.

I love capturing the excitement and joy that follows surprise proposals. Their friend ended up bringing their dog to the photo session after he proposed so we could take a family photo of the three of them 🙂
