Romantic Miami Proposal Vizcaya Museum and Gardens

The Plan: John wanted to propose to his girlfriend Rachel at the very romantic Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. He was going to propose in the Tea House which is on the water side of the museum. He sent me a photo of them beforehand and what they were wearing so I could spot them easily. He also purchased a photo permit in advance and forwarded it to me so I could arrive early and be in place.

How it went down: I arrived a little early and as I normally do, I walked around and scouted the area. Right away I noticed a problem: the Tea House was under construction! I texted him right away and sent him photos of some other options. He liked the steps that are in the center of the garden with water fountains in the middle. I staked out a spot that was fairly close and just pretended to be a occupied with my phone as I kept watch on them. As soon as he got down on one knee I started photographing, capturing her surprised reaction! The rest of the hour we walked around the gorgeous gardens, making the most of our time there. So happy and excited for the two of them as they begin this next chapter of their lives!
