Surprise Proposal at the Secret Gardens Miami
The plan: S wanted to propose at the Secret Gardens in Miami. He arranged with Love Flowers Miami to create a setup in one of the archways. They did a magnificent job creating a beautiful arrangement! I arrive early to meet his sister at the location and also scouted the area to find the best spots for photos after the proposal.
How it went down: His sister and I were hiding out in some landscaping close to where he would propose. She was also tracking his location on her phone so we could see when they were getting close. When we saw them approaching, I got a little closer to capture the moment. It was the most beautiful, perfect moment and of course she said yes!!
After the proposal, we walked around to photograph in different spots in the gardens. There were some other photo shoots taking place but it’s a large enough space that we found some great spots where there were no people.
The Secret Gardens is a really unique spot in Miami and was the perfect backdrop for the proposal and engagement-style photos afterwards. There are unique props amidst the lush Florida landscaping, elegant coral archways and numerous lagoons some of which even have swans! There is also ample shade which is great for photographing at all times of the day.
