Sisters at the Coral Gables Prado Entrance

These sisters are models in New Zealand. They are beautiful not just on the outside though, and it’s easy to see why after I met their mom. They are kind, sweet and grateful people, and working with them was truly a joy. I always say there’s a special bond between sisters. Every time I’ve photographed sisters it’s resulted in some photographs I’m really proud of.

You can’t create a bond that doesn’t exist; when photographing you are working with existing relationships. You can place people in beautiful light, provide ideas on how to pose, but that extra something has to come from the people that you’re working with. It’s an honesty within, or the shared dynamic that comprises the relationships you have with your loved ones. And that’s what I want to capture.
