1 Years Old Birthday Photo Session: Coral Gables Prado Entrance

I met this super sweet family at the beautiful Coral Gables Prado Entrance for an afternoon session. We scheduled it exactly on her birthday, she turned 1! It was a bit of a crazy afternoon with it raining on and off, the sun would come out and then hide under the rain clouds. With a bit of luck, we managed a full hour with only a few rain drops and some beautiful light!

Their daughter was so friendly and adorable, I loved photographing all of her expressions! We started off with some family portraits, then let her explore on her own for a little while. Whenever she stood up, we cheered her on, as she is just starting to walk. Her birthday crown managed to stay on for a few seconds before she would take it off.

After playing with her mom and dad some more, I think we finally tired her out after one hour. She rested her head on her mom’s shoulder and was ready for a nap 🙂
