South Beach Maternity Photography Session

I loved working with this kind, warm couple to photograph their maternity session.For this session we met up at South Pointe Park for a beach session before sunset. I loved the lace dress she wore and his complimentary outfit of white + khaki. She had no qualms getting in the water for some gorgeous reflections. They’re expecting a baby girl and I’m really happy and excited for them!

Maternity sessions are best scheduled around 6-8 months of pregnancy or when you are very obviously showing but still comfortable to walk around for a little while (30 minutes-1 hour). For beach sessions, the best time is around sunrise or 1-2 hours before sunset. For shady locations, the timing is more flexible so late morning or early afternoon can work.
