South Pointe Park Pier Proposal Photography

The plan: This couple came all the way from Australia. His sister initially emailed me to help him set up a surprise proposal session in Miami. They were traveling the US and would be flying in from Las Vegas to Miami. Since they were staying a the Washington Park Hotel in South Beach, South Pointe Park was decided as the meeting spot since it’s close by. He sent me photos of the two of them so I know who to look for. He also sent me a selfie of the two of them a few hours before the session so I knew what they were wearing.

How it went down: They arrived at South Pointe Park and took a walk along the water toward the beach. I spotted them right away since I recognized them from the photo he sent me earlier. I followed from a distance. He went on to the South Pointe Pier which had beautiful light. He got down on one knee to her total surprise – just check out her awesome reaction – and she said yes!! We then took some photos on the pier, by the rocks along the water and then ended on the beach with some sweet photos just as the sun was disappearing.
