Family Wedding Portraits on the Beach in Miami

I was fortunate to photograph this family, in wedding attire, for a sunrise beach session. She wore a beautiful wedding gown and looked stunning. Their son looked super handsome and was giddy and excited taking photos with his parents while getting almost all the attention. They were clever and brought along some beach toys so when the session was over he could play in the sand (after changing into a different outfit).

We met up at South Pointe Park in South Beach (a neighborhood in Miami Beach). It was totally worth waking up early as there was a beautiful golden light that only occurs when the sun is coming up – and if you’re lucky enough to not have any clouds blocking the light.

You can wear the dress and suit for the entire session, or if you book a 1 or 2 hour session, you can bring another outfit to change into. This way you have a dressy outfit, and a more casual one – it’s totally up to you!
